Psoriasis: overdue update
After seeing a naturopath for over a year and trying different diets and homeopathic remedies, I think I am finally seeing some signs of remission of my psoriasis. Patches are thinner and smaller.
Things I have learned:
- Everybody’s body reacts differently to different foods. Alcohol is the only thing that I have 100% proven flairs my psoriasis.
- Coconut oil is soothing, moisturizing, and softens psoriasis scales so that they flake easier without bleeding and pain. I apply coconut oil to my scalp after washing my hair. I only wash my hair about once a week.
- Sleep, a low-stress environment, sunshine and smiles are all beneficial to my condition.
